Proverbs 22:6
- "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not
depart from it."
Summit is blessed
with many young people of all ages. It is important for us to give special
emphasis to our young people as they mature so that they will become Christians
and will lead a life of service to the Lord. We seek the following:
1. Create
an atmosphere where young people can grow in faith and love for God and others.
Help them learn to develop and exhibit Christ like behaviors.
2. Attend at least two youth rallies during the year.
3. Assist in a monthly kid's night.
4. Conduct monthly devotionals.
5. Go on a camping/devotional activity.
6. Help the youth serve the congregation and community through numerous
service activities.
7. Have several lock-ins and other fun activities during the year.
8. Participate in an evangelistic outreach effort.
9. Assist participation in Summit’s young men's 5th Sunday night services.
10. Participate in Summit's annual Vacation Bible School.
11. Participate in Bible Bowl and other activities that encourage study of the
Word of God.
12. Participate in retreats and camping activities at Fort Hill Christian Youth
Camp. |
