Ministry Leader:  Bill and Sheryl Herald

The young adult age is a special time in our lives.  We are rearing our children, establishing and developing our careers, and serving the Lord.  It is also a time when the stress level can be elevated.  Our young adults have high aspirations and we want these avenues to be fruitful in terms of their Christian development and to the Lord's church.  The works of the Young Adults and Family Ministry are:

1.  Continue a Sunday morning Bible class for young adults so they can build up both their faith and
     their relationships with one another.
2.  Develop service projects for members unable to do the work themselves; urban ministry outreach;
     food and clothing drives for homeless.
3.  More emphasis on spiritual things such as prayer, studies and small groups.
4.  Plan and coordinate special activities to promote and encourage young families at Summit
     such as cookouts, singings, progressive dinner, day in park with kids, devotionals with
     fellowship time, sports outings.
