Purpose:  The purpose for the Preteen Youth Group (Summit Servants) is to encourage spiritual maturing among a group of young people who are sometimes underserved by traditional programs.

Activities:  Plan regular activities to bring the group together for recreation, service or learning. These activities will include: devotionals, skating, miniature golf, door knocking, scavenger hunt, youth rallies etc. Some activities will be segregated by gender, others will be co-ed.

Goals:

1.  Promote spiritual bonds between parent and child by encouraging parental
     involvement in the group's activities.

2.  Promote bonds within the group that will establish a network of support for
     Christian living.

3.  Promote the spiritual development of each child through opportunities to serve in
     gender appropriate ways.
