Ministry Leader: Adam and Cori Fuller
"Train up a child in the way
he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6
On the
first Sunday evening of each month our young children assemble in the foyer
where they engage in songs, prayers, and lessons taught by puppeteers.
Children learn a great deal from these lessons (parents also enjoy kids' night).
The specific goals of kids' night are to:
1.
Encourage the youth and adults involved in the program to grow and develop
spiritually.
2. Encourage our youth to be "in Christ" by obeying the gospel.
3. Be Christ focused and present important messages from God's word to the
children.
4. Offer the Summit Youth and adults a way to serve.
5. Recruit new youth and adults to become involved in the program.
6. Conduct community outreach performances.
7. Attend relevant puppetry events when possible.
8. Prepare the teens to maintain a puppet program to be used both in Kids'
Night and VBS.
9. Review and add Bible monthly memory verses taught by the puppets to the
children.
