My Bible Reading Schedule for March 19

Joshua Chapters 23, 24

Overview of Chapters 23 and 24:  Joshua was now approaching the age of 110 years. He calls all of the Israel leaders together for his final message. He encourages them to observe all that is written in the book of the law of Moses. He also encourages them to love the LORD their God. The people agreed that they would serve the Lord. After this they departed to their own land. Joshua died, being 110 years of age. He was buried within his own inheritance. The children of Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua and all the days of the elders who served under Joshua.    (Overview for this reading compliments of Gene Harlow)
